Here are a couple of photos from the Mt. Airy, MD, Jimmy Cone. It’s referred to as a show, but I consider it more of a glorified cars & coffee. Only, instead of coffee, it’s put on by a car guy who’s the owner of Jimmy Cone, known for ice cream. It takes place on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month, April through October. I heard about it only recently from two different people.
Many people arrive in the afternoon, but I arrived at around 6:30 pm as a last-second decision to go check it out (gorgeous weather, expected a good turnout). Usually, it’s primarily hot rods and the like, but the Corvette Club of America was there, and three C8’s were pulling out of the parking lot as I arrived. A couple of 911s were there as well. There was also a guy with his British Green TR3, whom I may have seen at the Mt. Airy Original British Car Day last summer.
I was there for pretty much the last hour or so. But it was good. I met a lot of folks and saw a good variety of cars. I met another Elise owner, too (sans his Elise). But I only talked to him briefly before I was distracted from some questions from other people.
