Several NoVA Lotus members autocross regularly. For those who haven't, this is a lot of fun, with less preparation required than a track day. (Do make sure your car is in good working order, though - brakes and tires are key, and Elise owners in particular need to make sure their battery is secured.) Tyler and Duane have agreed to see if they can reserve a few spots for NoVA Lotus members interested in autocross, but you need to respond to this post ASAP, if you are interested. Ok, I got a great reply from Ed, we need to get this out to everyone and advertise as much as possible, keep in mind they are only holding 10 spots for us and only members will get the discounted entry fee, but that doesn't mean more can't sign up. I plan on signing up regardless and I'm a member, so no need to count me as part of the 10. Here is Ed's reply.

Thanks, Bob Collum You can tell them that we will give them the $30 member rate (if they are not CDC members). Also keep in mind that they would pretty much be in heats 2 and 3. Heat 1 is heavily requested by members and newbies really should get a ride along before driving the course. To ensure the slots, they should make reservations as soon as the reservation system begins - use "0" as the member number AND Make Sure they Type "Lotus Club" in the Notes Section so that I'll know to give them the member rate. |

You all missed out on a fun event! Dry course all day and pretty fast! It would have been a great course for beginners due to it being easy to follow. Hope to see you at future events!
