A friend sent me this link. Evo magazine did a head-to-head track test of a Lamborghini model that was specifically targeted to be a trackday toy, versus a mildly-hot Caterham model. (It's the SECOND-highest model in the range of 5 available Seven models!) If you are not familiar with Sevens, the tested Seven 420 has 210hp, and weighs half a ton. (The Caterham model numbers indicate HP per ton.) The top Caterham model is a Seven 620, with 310hp. It's fairly obvious, by now, that Jason Cammisa is one of my favorite YouTube presenters. He's entertaining, AND he is an Elise owner!

An interesting, and pretty comprehensive history of Lotus. Note: Not 100% accurate... (To pick nits, Toyota never owned Lotus.) As to his nebulous conclusion, while I have no need for an SUV, if that's what it takes to keep Lotus alive... it works for Porsche!
