I've been looking for this old (2006), England-only ad for a couple of weeks, and just ran across it. While it was appropriate for the Elise, it's interesting to consider the Lotus attitude, now that the Evora is their only US model.
Has anybody heard the story of the location where this video was shot? (It was an anecdote told at a LOG, several years ago.)

Hadn't heard anything about the shooting location. ======= Several years ago, Richard Parramint told the story of the two Lotus employees in the video - Tony Shute and Nick Adams. They arrived at the studio to shoot the video, and went inside. It was a very big warehouse, and their set was over in one corner. While they were waiting for everything to be set up, they sat on the edge of a ledge that had a tarp over it. The 'producer' came over, and suggested they might not want to sit on that hot tub, since it was used regularly in porn videos, and might not be sanitary. That's our Lotus - no expense is spared! The older of the two employees is Tony Shute. You might have seen him in the "How It's Made" episode on the Evora. --Bob Collum |
