Father's day at Fairfax Circle (Cameron's). We only had a total of about 12 cars there this morning, but it did include 3 NoVA Lotus members (though not all at once...) Greg Smoak brought his VW bug, and Bob Scates drove his Esprit. --Bob Collum    |

Hey Bob , Is this now a regular Sunday event? If so what time? I am up and running again. That's great, Annie! This is a VERY small get-together. We have not seen 10 cars at a time there yet, this year. Nice people, though, and I like supporting Cameron's, the coffee place/bakery there. It's Sundays, starting no earlier than 8AM, since Cameron's doesn't open until then. I won't be there this Sunday. Dulles Landing is a much larger get-together, starting around 7:00AM Sundays. It's a huge bunch of Camaros, Mustangs, MoPars, and Jeeps. Most of the groups keep largely to themselves. I stopped going, but some people really like it. --Bob |

We had just got done shooting my friend's Guilia (early morning shoot) and decided to check it out. There was a decent amount of cars there, but too far for me to go on a regular basis. Katies seems to be the Gold standard. I would like to check out Hunt Valley some time. |

I'd say that the Fairfax Circle C & C is 'back'. We had about 20 cars there today. I met Mark Franke there at 8:00AM. (Cameron's, the coffee/chocolate/bakery there, doesn't open until 8:00AM, so this is not an ultra-early event.) --Bob Collum    |

Fairfax Circle, 07/23/17 It rained last night. Quite a lot. Good: At 70F, it was 9 degrees cooler this morning than yesterday morning for Katie's. Not as good: The roads were a bit damp, and it was humid. Still, the faithful came out. We had a pretty good turnout today - very diverse. You can't much complain about having a Lamborghini Murcielago, a painfully-original VW bus, a genuine '32 Ford roadster, a bagged vintage Caddy, and a Beck Spyder, all at the same place. --Bob Collum    |

A good day at Cameron's. I brought my Elise, and Bob Scates was there with his Esprit. (Two Lotus each week, two weeks in a row!) A really nice resto-mod Camaro there, too.

There were three Lotus at Fairfax Circle Cars & Coffee today! I got there early with my Seven; Bob Scates arrived a bit later with his Esprit, and Annie got there (minutes after I left) with her Esprit. A small event held every Sunday, this is gaining in popularity...
