The Colonial Challenge Cup happens this Thursday, April 13th, at Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia. If you want to drive at an HPDE day, you can still sign up... registration ends Wednesday, April 12th. Register at: www.motorsportreg.com/events/ccc-track-day-summit-point-colonial-challenge-cup-664371
To spectate, bring a Lotus (including all Sevens), and get in free. We will have a common parking/display area, since we are the featured marque. Parade laps will be availble on the track at lunchtime, for spectators. Come out and enjoy the day! Event starts at 8:00AM. Details on the calendar.
Note: Norm Beaver has asked if anyone will be traveling out Route 7 to Summit Point on Thursday, April 13th. He will be going that way, and is looking to caravan with someone else. Let me know by return email; I can put you in touch with Norm...

Britain on the Green, the first big British car show of the year, will be held Sunday, April 30th. We always have a good Lotus turnout; make sure you sign up; the more Lotus we have, the better chance we have for having our own class, and getting the maximum number of trophies for Lotus! Register now, here - www.tickettailor.com/events/capitaltriumphregister/823973 Details on the calendar.

We are in the process of finalizing GYLO 24 - our regular local gathering of Lotus cars. Hard to believe, but we did our first Get Your Lotus Out in 2011!
We have generally done two per year, but Covid forced us to do two virtual GYLOs in 2020, and we did not have a Spring 2022 GYLO. We are looking
forward to returning to a Spring & Fall GYLO for 2023. This year's return to form starts with GYLO 24, on Sunday, May 28. More details soon!

This just in from NoVA Lotus El Presidente, Mark Franke...
Folks - Cars and Crabs is coming back in September. Date - tbd.
(We were gonna try and shoot for June, but there are just too many conflicting events.) The last pre-Covid event was a blast.
This will be in Chantilly, VA, at my house. We will have crabs obviously, plus shrimp and barbecue chicken for those who are
too timid to eat crabs. We will try to come up with another winery event this spring/summer, as well.

Shameless C & C Plug: In between the big British car events, get your Lotus fix at your local cars & coffee... For example, Katie's Cars & Coffee
(760 Walker Rd. Great Falls, VA) happens every Saturday, all year. I am there with a Lotus, almost every Saturday.
Get there by 6:30AM, to get a decent parking space. At an average Saturday event, Katie's has a few hundred cars showing up.
We often have a couple of Lotus there (as well as LOTS of other interesting vehicles). During peak season (June-July-August),
there can be over 500 cars in the 4-square-block shopping village where Katie's is located. Can't get up that early? Show up after 8:30AM,
and there are SOMETIMES a few open parking spaces... but you won't see me - I leave by 8:30AM, freeing up a space up front!
NoVA Lotus also occasionally does impromptu get-togethers, usually on holidays. If you're on this email list, you will be notified.
If you have an car event you'd like to publicize, let me know, and we will look at adding it to the calendar.
Keep your eye on the NoVA Lotus calendar, so you don't miss out!
