Hi Northern VA Lotus fans-
I teach at most of the events and I'm more than willing to correspond, coach and advise anyone who is interested in HPDE or any type of track event. If you're not sure about HPDE, you can visit any event for free and if I'm there, you're welcome to ride along for some hot laps during an instructor session. Come on out and see us at the track!
It's Randy Smith again. I'm an instructor for Summit Point Friday-At-The-Track (FATT) events and an Elise driver. I just had a fun and very cold day on Saturday participating in our annual Train-the-Trainer event. Talk about "Skid-Pad", it was solid ice at 8am! Still a ton of fun, especially because we were driving Summit's Crown-Vic's and not our own cars. This got me excited and thinking about the coming track season which is only a month away. I figured I'd give you a jump on the FATT schedule for 2023. The schedule is set, but it is not 100% posted yet on all the typical sites. As many of you know, the Novice and Intermediate slots fill up super-quickly, so getting an early look can be extremely helpful. Rather than going to the Summit Point site, you can access these through the MotorSportReg.com site. Here's a link that should take you to the entire schedule: www.motorsportreg.com/calendar/?country=US&q=Summit+Point+FATT&radius=300&lat=38.60&lng=-80.45&loc=West+Virginia If that doesn't work, go to MotorSportReg.com and Search for "West Virginia" as the location and "Summit Point FATT" as the event.
