This afternoon, on our drive over to the CPA's office to get our taxes done, we saw this... (The rear window was open, but he was tethered in.) --Bob Collum

Not a bad garage for a car to hang out in while under the knife!

Celebrating 12 years of ownership today. Photo just before a somewhat spirited 45-mile drive through low-traffic rural roads. Gorgeous day for it.

My Babies. Took this last week. All the cars I've either ever owned (all but the red one) or have been the primary driver of (red one). And, I still have them all, for now (sales pending on the red one and the Nova)! Each has its significance and evidently I'm drawn to the first year of a series/generation.

I looked through the 'Photos of the Week' posts, and couldn't believe I had not yet posted this. It's a photo my wife Debbie took, at LOG 17 in Ohio, in 1997. We both took notice of an S1 Elise, parked nose-to-nose with a Dino. (The designer of the S1 Elise owned a Dino, and loved the lines... who doesn't?) --Bob Collum

Movie night with a local flying club. These hangar doors made for a sweet background. The “golden hour” evening lighting helped, too:

Sorry, no Lotus content... but, my wife took these photos of two hawks that were on our back deck. (Too bad she had to take the pic through the windowscreen!) --Bob Collum

Back to cars! This is a Lotus Evora, occasionally used as an ambulance in Dubai... (Hmmmm... isn't that a state lottery logo, on the nose? What's that say about your chances, if this vehicle picks you up?) --Bob Collum

Tour de France 2022, Stage 18, in the mountains. Not sure of the meaning here, but I see the word Lotus!

My sister hoards old photos. She had this one of my old Europa Twincam, which I must have sent her, long ago. You probably can't read it, but it has a watermark of '1997 New Hope Auto Show' on it. A very bad 'professional' photo that was probably part of participation. No, the guy on the front-loader is not in my engine compartment! Even my photos are usually better than this. --Bob Collum

Would have been nice if the photographer had taken a step or two back to at least get the whole car in there.

Actually, I have quite a few pics of my Europa - I had it for 21 years, and it was my only car for about 8 years. I have pics of it in many LOG panoramic photos, including the one my PHL club ran in 1995. (I was in the front row for that one!) The first pic below is of me, driving the Europa away from my house, to meet the truck to ship it to its new owner, in 2001. The second one is the panoramic picture of LOG XV, in the Poconos, in 1995. My Europa is in the front row, behind the black formula car, with my not-yet-wife and me by the front fender. --Bob Collum
