Jo Mullen, widow of Tim Mullen, is having a garage sale. Tim & Jo bought one of the original U.S. Elises in 2005, and Tim Mullen was one of the most active posters on LotusTalk for many years. Tim passed away 3 years ago. Jo had a house fire on Easter Sunday evening, and it destroyed the house. However, there was minimal damage to the garage. She is opening up the garage to Lotus club members first. I saw the garage before the fire, and there was A LOT of stuff in there - several craftsman tool chests, filled with tools, an air compressor, drill press, electric saws, engine stand, jacks, and some spare parts for the Elise. They also have a fairly large collection of Lotus 'Hot Wheels' toys. Lots of stuff, and it will require digging to get to a lot of it.
The plan is to start the garage sale on Saturday, May 12th, starting at 9:00AM. This is a garage sale, so there are not likely to be listed prices. This will be 'make a reasonable offer'.
The house is at 12832 Mt. Royal Lane Fairfax, VA. Bring cash. It's possible that, at 9:00AM, it will just be a few Lotus people and some neighbors.
Thanks!
