I want to say that I remember seeing the LOG one. Quite cool. Here's an edited version of that first pic. I got rid of the machinery, but did not play with the auto show logo:

Looks good. Changing out the tops like that always reminds me of a Hot Wheels car or other customizable scale models.

A little nerdy fun with a 5-monitor setup: Funny in that the Emira's blue makes it obvious that each display has just a little bit different color/density.

I happened across this on my way home from lunch Thursday. Take a look at the gray Honda, next to where the Fairfax County cop is standing. Looks like it’s neatly parked, right? What you DON’T see is the damaged Land Rover, off-camera to the left. The Honda went up a curb, over a traffic light standard, and all the way up the hill! Mark Franke and I decided that this is the start of a new TV game show, ‘DUI or Dementia’! No ambulance, so seems everyone was OK. --Bob Collum

A friend of mine from Katie's took his Alvis over to England for a club event. He was nice enough to send me this picture of his car from Palé Hall, Wales, with an Emira. New and old classics! --Bob Collum

Cool combinations. For the Emira, is that one that's been delivered?

I was watching a video describing the "debranding" trend in general when they flashed up THIS logo!

Not Lotus-related, but I think you will find it interesting... My friend, Bill Lightfoot, has lived a hell of a life... Among many other things, he is the reigning land speed record champion for open cars, under 2 liters. He drove his Alfa Spyder to 232.215mph!! (Oh, he was ~75 years old when he set this record.) He has all the hardware and posters to prove it. In addition (and, how cool is this?), some company made a 1:43 scale model of his Alfa... with a decal of his name on the door! Side note: Bill owned a 1959 Cooper T-51 Formula 1 car for several years. Prior to Bill's ownership, this car had 2nd, 4th, 5th and 9th place finishes in 1960 Formula 1 races. Bill still participates in hillclimbs in his Morgan. I have met all kinds of interesting people at Katie's! --Bob Collum
