A pretty good turnout at Katie's, as usual. We had an Elise, an Evora, and an Exige. (Bad picture of the Evora as he entered... never saw his car again!) --Bob Collum

What's the red one? Looks MR2-ish.

What's the red one? Looks MR2-ish. Autozam (a Mazda sub-brand) AZ-1. A Kei car, built to a very strict set of rules, meant to make it a good Japanese 'urban' car. Kei cars have a strict limit on overall length, to fit in tight parking spaces, as well as a displacement limit, and I think a limit to at least claimed horsepower. The AZ1 has a mid-engined, 3-cyl, 657cc Suzuki-based engine, with a claimed 85hp. It has gullwing doors. The earliest models made are now importable. We've seen this one, and a second one at Katie's before - pretty cool! --Bob Collum
