I just mailed my registration. One time, I found that the mail person merely took the registration envelope from my mailbox and put it into my nextdoor neighbor's mailbox. Glad my neighbor returned it to me, or I may have been in for a surprise when I tried checking in at the show.

Fun show today! I'm going to say that it seemed like a light car turnout overall, but a strong Lotus presence, with twelve Lotuses on the field (5 Elises, 2 Esprits, 1 Eclat, 3 Europas and 1 Seven) and two Lotuses in the spectator lot (Elises).
There were some unique cars there today.
I'll post pictures soon.

And, finally, for the Lotuses, imagine an Elise as a service vehicle. One was used to supply power to a pump to inflate a tire on this nice Europa!

Some unique vehicles at the show: Mini-based Mini Marcos. I had never seen one:

And, my favorite, that nice Jag E-Type racer replica, at Katie's the morning before the show. The roofline is 7 inches lower than a standard E-Type. As a result, the windshield rake is also different. Also, there's no rear side window. 350+ HP straight 6 engine, moving only 2,100 lbs (I think). Very pretty vehicle, and this is my favorite shot that I took at the show:

Does anyone get the significance of the British reg plate on the Seven? (Or, am I the only old guy on here??)
