Folks,
Now that spring is almost here, it will be great to get together again. Most of us have missed socializing with our fellow Lotus enthusiasts. With an improvement in the Covid numbers state wide and based on personal observation, it seems reasonable to have a social gathering. Masks will be a personal decision. Quattro Goomba is a great venue with both a winery and brewery with good food choices. Bob and I both look forward to getting the band back together – (we promise not to sing).

Upcoming club events:
We’ve had people asking when club events will resume, so here are some upcoming events -
1.) A club trip to Quattro Goombah Brewery & Winery, Saturday, March 19. We plan on gathering at the Blue Iguana parking lot (12727 Shoppes Ln, Fairfax, VA) around 10AM. We will leave to drive to Quattro Goombah at 10:30AM. If it’s more convenient for you to meet us at the destination, Quattro Goombah is located at 22860 James Monroe Hwy, Aldie, VA. They serve pizza, sandwiches, and bar snacks. (Outside food and drinks not allowed.)
2.) Here’s a small car show that may be of some interest: Restored Racers Car Club Show - Sunday, April 3rd, 8:00AM. Location is - 10304 Lynnhaven Pl, Oakton, VA (the Oakton Library parking lot.) They are looking for ‘European cars, pre-2000’s’. You can reach them to sign up at - restoredracers@gmail.com
3.) The first big British car show of 2022 is Britain on the Green, hosted by the Capital Triumph Register, a terrific British car club, on Sunday, April 24th. NoVA Lotus has a tradition of ‘bringing out the troops’ for this show. If we continue to early-register a large number of Lotus for this show, we will qualify as our own category, which will guarantee us more trophies for our class. Register early (by April 10th), and pay $30 per registered car. After April 10th, and at the gate - $40 per registered car. If we do not early-register enough Lotus, we will be put into a ‘general’ category, and have to compete against very rare and exotic vehicles. (I, for one, don’t want to compete against the British armored car!) To register, use the link:

4.) A track day, sponsored by Lotus, LTD - June 1st, at Watkins Glen, NY:

We look forward to better driving weather! Local cars & coffee events continue throughout the area. Keep track of some of those events at our website:

Please make use of our website - we have lots of resources there; a calendar of upcoming events, Lotus cars and Lotus items for sale, posted pictures from cars & coffee and other events, and posts of general interest to Lotus people.
