My wife Debbie and I will be participating in our 5th straight running of the DC version of the America's British Reliability Run. This will be a two-day drive through the local countryside, in older British cars. (Get it? British Reliability... it's NOT an oxymoron!)
This year, the 2021 DC ABRR will be a 2-day event, to be held Saturday & Sunday, October 2nd and 3rd, 2021. (Optionally, you can choose to drive only Saturday, October 2nd.)
The registration fee is $295.

This is a 2-day drive on public roads in Virginia. It is NOT a race or rally, but a fun, fairly leisurely drive for charity. The event will start and end outside Leesburg, VA.
If you have a British car that qualifies for antique plates, you can join this event. (Sorry, but Elises, Exiges, Evoras and Esprit V8s will not qualify - I checked. Earlier Esprits will qualify.) Registration is open now. Participation is limited to 30 cars. First come, first served. The registration fee is $295, which covers one car entry, with one driver and one navigator/co-driver. Each team's goal is to raise money for the charity, Our Military Kids.
I'd love to have more Lotus participation! Elan, Europa, early Esprit owners - please consider joining a really good group of people on this drive!
Last year, one participant auctioned off the use of THREE of his 'spare' British cars on BringATrailer. One lucky bidder used a different car each day - a 1950 Jaguar XK120 Lightweight, a 1956 Austin-Healey 100M, and a 1956 AC Ace. If that sounds good to you, be aware that he won with a bid of $7000 for the drives!
If you have any questions at all about this event, please let me know - robert_collum@hotmail.com.
If, for some reason, you cannot participate, Debbie and I are seeking donations for our team. Here is the link - anything is appreciated!
