Some photos (mix of cell phone and SLR) from the May 22, 23 Summit Point Shenandoah Circuit weekend: Factory Five 818 -- The owner says the design was highly-inspired by the Elise: NA Elise. '08 Factory Supercharged: Model 3 with track package (didn't know that was an option until I spoke with the owner). Stock wheels for now. The owner drove it hard for about 20 minutes each session. Though, he says he believes it could go longer. For the charging station's output, he was getting 40 miles range/hour when in the paddock between sessions: Caterham 420R: A plethora of Lotuses there that weekend. A different yellow Elise, this one making 300 to the wheels with a BOE Rev 400: Nice Z06: Boxster: Miata. That's a point-by and NOT an angry finger.

A tremendous amount of rubber flying around that weekend. One guy borrowed my engine support rod to use to get a large piece of rubber off his rim that he said was throwing his wheel off balance. And here's a screenshot of my video that caught a piece of flying rubber in action: Rubber stuck to the outside of the rims when I got home (wax bottle is for size reference):
