NoVA Lotus member Lashdeep Singh has kindly extended an invitation to our club for a Test and Tune format Autocross on Apr 11 at Summit Point Raceway.
This autocross has been organized for the Ferrari club, will offer unlimited runs between 9 AM and 4 PM, and will have dedicated workers
assigned to pick up cones, so no drivers will have to work the course. Also, lunch, refreshments, and a social hour afterwards are included.
There are a few spots open for any Lotus members to bring their cars. If you are interested, please contact Lashdeep Singh <lashdeep@yahoo.com>.
Thanks for thinking of us, Lashdeep!!

We have a good start toward getting the needed 40 people together for the virtual tour of Classic Team Lotus. As of right now, I have the names of 14 people, willing to pay $25 to participate in this virtual tour. (We will need 40 paid participants, to cover our costs.) If you are interested - let me know by return email ASAP. This event would be scheduled for non-business hours, probably sometime in April. Below is the description from yesterday's club update:
We have been in contact with Richard Parramint, a Lotus friend in the UK. Richard has worked in many roles for Lotus directly. He is a huge Lotus enthusiast, and an accomplished public speaker. Richard can arrange a virtual tour of Classic Team Lotus in Hethel, UK for NoVA Lotus. Classic Team Lotus is a very impressive shop, run by Clive Chapman, (Colin’s son), and employs several ex-Team Lotus mechanics, restoring and maintaining all manner of Lotus competition cars. Richard has offered to put on a virtual tour for us, and he would arrange experts to chat with us about the cars. If we can get at least 40 people in the club interested, our cost would be $25 per head, and the virtual tour would last 90 minutes. You would see cars that are not available to be seen by the general public without a visit to the museum. Having done the tour before, I consider this to be a good value.
