Who would've believed it? Not me! We had, by my count, 11 Lotus in attendance. I may have underestimated how much people want to get out of the house, and drive... We used the opportunity to give out two prizes from VGYLO - Kevin McGovern's win in the 'Competition' category, and Greg Surcouf's win, for his Elan +2S.

Today was the debut of my facelifted 2007 Elise. I had always wanted the Type 49 Special Edition look, from the special Elise model Lotus sold everywhere but the United States. This paint scheme emulates the look of the Lotus F1 team's Gold Leaf Team Lotus livery, from 1968 thru 1971. I chose not to order the car with this customization from the factory, due to cost. Now, 13 years after buying our Elise new, I finally have the look I always wanted. I am very happy with the work done.
I had Darryl Nichols, owner of Odds and Ends Detailing (and long-time friend of NoVA Lotus) arrange to do the vinyl wrap and protective film, as well as PlastiDip for the wheels. Anyone wishing to contact Darryl can reach him at - 703-675-8819, email@oddsandendsdetailing.com. His business is at 112 Oakgrove Rd #111 Sterling, VA 20166. He also does detailing, and sells Adam's detailing products.
Contact me if you have any questions about the work done!

Wow, look at that turnout! And look at that extensive variety among those 11 cars!

Looks fantastic! And, from the exterior shots, it looks like a totally different car, complete with new license plate! Quite the surprise change-up!
