I have been trying to find my calypso red 1983 Esprit, SCCFC20A3DHF60352.
Personal issues forced me to sell the car in late 2013. Big mistake. The guy I sold it to in 2013 apparently snapped the timing belt within months and subsequently gave it to "a big Lotus guy at Summit Point". YOHB?
Since 2014, I have had a couple of positive life changes, including having learned a few more things by restoring a couple of MGs along with a 2001 Audi TT etc etc. I would like to buy my old car back and return it to the road.
Anyone have any leads?
Thanks for your help! Jason Mitchell jason@mitchelldigital.com

I’d start with running the VIN through Maryland MVA. If not there expand to surrounding States. It has NOT been salvaged or reported as a Total Loss

Jason - welcome back. I have an 86 Esprit which just came back from a 5 year restoration. Unlike you, I was not able to do the work myself. I did follow the process so I might be able to answer questions or share pictures if they are helpful. Where are you located? I am in Arlington, VA.
