We have planned a lunch at Black Flag Brewing Company in Columbia, MD on Sunday, 11/3/19. Some of us will meet at Blue Iguana (12727 Shoppes Lane Fairfax, VA), and leave for Black Flag at 11:00AM, sharp. We encourage anyone who'd like a more interesting drive that morning to use this thread to organize their drive to end in time to meet us at Black Flag at Noon.

Please RSVP (with head count) on this thread by November 1st, so we can arrange for adequate space at Black Flag.

Planning to attend as well. Will drive separately.

I'll plan to meet up at Blue Iguana! The place is like a mile from me. I was gonna ask if I could bring my DB9, but I just heard today that I gotta wait another month on parts

As of now, Christina and I plan to leave Annapolis around 9am on Sunday, drive Lotus out to Harper’s Ferry area and then meet up by noon at Black Flag. We’ll probably leave around 1:15 in order to get back to Annapolis by 2pm for F1 race start... Thanks for organizing!

We had a really good turnout for this drive to lunch... We had 7 cars meet at Blue Iguana (5 were Lotus), and we had another 4 Lotus at Black Flag when we arrived. Seems like a lot of people wanted to get out and drive their Lotus at least once more before winter!
Thanks to everyone for showing up!

Thanks for arranging this, Bob. Great seeing everyone and meeting some new faces! Fun time! A good chunk of us stayed until around 4 o’clock. Beautiful driving weather and it’s no wonder several folks did the drive with the top off. I myself, however, chickened out and put the hard top on the night before. The Glen Cocoa was quite good: Storefront: Looking outward:

Thanks, Kevin! It's fun when we have a good turnout!
We need to do several 'drives to lunch' next year, and scatter them around. We had several DC Chapter members at Black Flag, and that's great. I'm sure Mark will plan a trip to the Guinness factory in Baltimore sometime next year; we'll need some help in arranging for safe parking, as you mentioned.
