One of my Jaguar friends helps run a 3-day festival each year, in Highlands, NC. The festival, celebrating their 12th year, offers several car-centric events, from mountain drives, to a cars & coffee, to a judged concours. I'm told the drive there is worth the trip; Highlands, NC bills itself as 'The Highest Town East of the Rockies'. This year, they are featuring the cars of Carroll Shelby, but there will be a good amount of both foreign and domestic cars, and they have had a pretty good showing of exotics. For more details -
