The last big British car show of the year, run by the MG Car Club.
Nestled midway between historic Marshall, and lovely Middleburg, deep in the rolling hills of Virginia's incomparable Hunt Country, lies Willoughby Farm, home of our host, Barbara Scott.
In October the vista is an artist's palette of breath-taking color. This is the setting for the MG Car Club, Washington, D.C. Centre's Hunt Country Classic British Vehicle Show.
And, there's entertainment for everyone, from apple pressing for the kids, to hayrides for all to round out the day! Additional entertainment is provided.

Looks like we will have another good showing of Lotus at this event. Good roads around this area - we used several on our British Reliability Run last week. Hope to see a lot of you at this year's Hunt Country Classic!

A very good showing for NoVA Lotus at the show today! 10 Lotus - one of the largest single classes; we qualified for three trophies.
We had Lotus owners from as far as Hampton Roads and Staunton, VA. The spread of Lotus models was good, too - 4 Esprits, 3 Elises, 2 Elans, and one Seven.
At the end of the day, trophies were awarded based on votes from registered attendees at the show. The Lotus class trophies went to:
1st place: Mark Whitaker's blue 1969 Elan S4.
2nd place: Jim Gordon's 'yellow' 1970 Elan S4.
3rd place: Bob Collum's Seven.

You can't go wrong with such a broad range of Lotus models, and we saw some old friends for the first time in a long while - Tom and Mary Ann Neel.
Todd & Shonda drove all the way from Hampton Roads to spend the day with us. We met new friend Steve Cummins, who drove his red 1990 Esprit up from Staunton, VA.
The day started when the parade of Debbie German, Mark Whitaker, Mark Franke, Annie Dalter and I drove out from the Blue Iguana. An uneventful trip, with a tiny bit of mist for the first 10 miles or do. (The Seven's wipers work!)
