After enjoying the journey and excitement around owning a Brunton Stalker, I've decided it's time to let someone else enjoy this ride. While I thoroughly enjoyed the build, I've put very few miles on it and due to moving across the country I no longer have room to store it. I used premium quality parts throughout. It has a NEW 3800 V6 L32 with supercharger. Never raced or abused. It's been in two car shows and won first prize in both. Car is located in Warrenton, Virginia.
What it is: M-Spec chassis #001. Build completed summer 2015. Titled as a 1962 Lotus Roadster, registered in VA, passed VA state inspection.
Why I'm selling it: I don't have time or space to enjoy it anymore.
The good: I spared no expense when purchasing parts for this vehicle. Everything in the drive train is as new as possible (limited slip rear-differential and 5-speed transmission are used but very low mileage). I used a crate motor for the build and have put less than 1,000 miles on it since completion. I've never raced this car but can't imagine what it would do on a track. It stops, turns, and goes better than anything I've experienced. This car has been indoors, in a clean garage its whole existence.
The bad: The car has been sitting for about 2 years now. Not surprisingly it doesn't start anymore. I've been advised the fuel injectors need to be cleaned. Normally I wouldn't try to sell a car that doesn't run but I'm just short on time to tinker with it. Considering the kind of person that buys these cars, I think someone who wanted to spend some time getting it running again could do so pretty easily. I've been telling myself all year I would get it running but haven't had the time to do so.
Price: I'm asking $32,000. I stopped tracking my expenses after I hit $38,000 so I know I've put at least that much into it and probably much more. I've also spent countless hours on the build. This is an opportunity to get a Stalker that has very low mileage and just needs a little work to get it running again. Please contact me if you're interested.
