We have been contacted to gauge interest in a dual-purpose event (think Goodwood Festival of Speed, but much smaller), with an HPDE event for those wanting to do a little track work (not a full-on track day), and a car show for everybody. CCC is Colonial Challenge Cup, and they'd like to see if we are interested in having Lotus as the featured marque. A couple of the people who were involved in the HPDE event at Summit Point, just before LOG, are involved in helping plan this event.
1. To attend for the day and show your Lotus there should be no charge or fee associated. There would also be lunch time parade laps that everyone could do at highway speeds and with no helmets required.
2. To attend for the day, display your Lotus, AND stay for the reception which includes food and beverages... the cost is $25. This fee is for a catered BBQ with drinks that costs $25 for all participants. It is not required and purely optional to attend the reception.
3. The early bird fee to drive at the track day event is $275; $299 for regular enrollment.
We will keep you apprised, as we learn more!
