Doukenie Winery Drive (Cancelled!):
SORRY! Due to circumstances beyond our control, the club drive to Doukenie Winery is cancelled.
We will announce some form of get-together, to be scheduled after LOG.
The 2022 Lotus Owners Gathering (LOG 41):
If you haven’t done it already, you should sign up to attend LOG 41 (this year’s Lotus Owner’s Gathering, the national club’s annual get-together).
LOG is held every year, but sponsored by different local chapters, each time. This year, the DC Chapter is running the event, and LOG will be held in Canaan Valley, West Virginia.
Event dates are Sept. 9th thru 11th, and there is a Friday at the Track on Sept. 9th, at Summit Point, and an autocross on Sunday, Sept. 11.
Do not expect LOG to be anywhere near this close for quite a while! Here is the link to the website to sign up for LOG:

America’s British Reliability Run – DC Chapter:
This year’s DC version of America’s British Reliability Run will be held October 1st & 2nd, 2022. I have represented Lotus with our Seven for the past 5 years, but I am unable to participate this year.
I’d love to have someone sign up to represent Lotus at this great event. The event typically runs about a couple of hundred miles per day, interesting roads, not much highway travel at all.
This year, there will be an overnight in Staunton, VA on Saturday, October 1. Any Lotus that is at least 25 years old can enter, so Elises, Exiges, and Evoras need not apply.
The registration fee is $526.77, which covers the entry, maps, and some meals. Each team is expected to raise money for the charity, Our Military Kids, which provides funds for extracurricular
activities for the children of deployed National Guard troops. I can vouch for the quality of the organizing group, the great people involved, and the fun drives they plan.
If you have any questions about this event, email me at Robert_collum@hotmail.com.
