Lots of cool stuff there including, still, a Lotus! Sorry yours didn't start. Battery? I recognize the Mini Marcos from this year's Original British Car Day ( novalotusclub.freeforums.net/post/3846). What is the three-wheeler? Messerschmitt? (not that I'm an expert. I think I saw it or one before and it's an unusual car name, if that's it).

When the Elise wouldn't start first thing Saturday morning, I reconnected the CTEK charger, and left for Katie's in the Subaru. When I got home, I tried the Elise again, and... it STARTED!
Weird! I bought this Odyssey PC680 battery in February, 2019, and it seems like it ought to last longer than this... (The last PC680 I bought lasted only 13 months, but Amazon replaced it for free, when the AMZ vendor wouldn't.) The Seven had an identical battery in it when I bought it in 2015. I also keep that one on an identical CTEK MUS 4.3 charger, and it's worked solidly the whole time. I'm guessing the difference is the parasitic drain of the alarm system, and maybe the radio, in the Elise.
For now, I'll keep my MoCo Lithium Ion jumpstarter.

Glad it was only battery-related. Indeed, the stock Elise will discharge a battery within days (shorter for tiny batteries). For vacations a while back, I used to disconnect the battery completely. While away nowadays, I leave it on the BatteryMinder.

That was me in the green Elise. I got it at the end of 2020 but the DMV gave me the run around with registration for a year so haven’t made it to any events. I look forward to meeting some folks and seeing some other cars in the fall.

Welcome, Bill! See the Events Calendar (on the green bar near the top of the page) to see when & where we are having drives and events. Of course, we always have some Lotus at Katie's, almost every Saturday. Post some pics of your car, please!
