This is our twice-a-year, all-Lotus cars & coffee-type event. We are in our 9th year. It's a great opportunity to get together and talk Lotus, and see friends. We will use the same venue as our last GYLO, in May - We will meet at the BACK lot of Katie's (all the way in back of the circle road around The Old Brogue restaurant - 760 Walker Road in Great Falls Village - Great Falls, VA). The event will start at 10:00AM Eastern Standard Time. There will be the standard popular-vote 'Favorite Lotus' contest, with prizes. If all goes well, you should see a good amount, and a good variety of Lotus cars and people. We will be driving out to Bull Run Winery for lunch afterwards - all are welcome to come! We hope to see you all there! --Bob Collum Here's a look at the location (arrow leads from previous lot to new lot):

OK, THIS is what I had in mind when I first thought of GYLO... Quite a few Lotus (30!!), and a good variety of models... My Lotus model count was - 7 Esprits, 3 Sevens, 4 Exiges, 3 Elans, 3 Evoras, 1 Eclat.... which leaves 9 Elises.
As always, we had our 'favorite Lotus' contest. First place in the vote was Grant Spurrell's Exige Club Racer. Second place was Tyler Pepin's black Exige.
There were SO MANY beautiful cars there today! Several of us had lunch at Katie's afterward. (Lotus people are very sociable!)
Thanks to everyone for coming out!

Someone mentioned to me, after the GYLO event, that they wished we had organized a drive afterwards.
That is a good idea! I'd suggest that anyone can use this website to organize a drive - before or after one of our club get-togethers - just by making a post in the event thread, asking if anyone wants to go on a drive. Normally, Mark Franke and I put our efforts into planning these events, and Mark is in charge of soliciting items from vendors, to use as prizes. We welcome anyone that wants to organize a post-event (or pre-event) drive. After all, driving is the reason we bought our Lotus! (Well, Mark bought his so he could hang out with the cool people...)
