The last big British car show of the year, run by the MG Car Club.
Nestled midway between historic Marshall, and lovely Middleburg, deep in the rolling hills of Virginia's incomparable Hunt Country, lies Willoughby Farm, home of our host, Barbara Scott.
In October the vista is an artist's palette of breath-taking color. This is the setting for the MG Car Club, Washington, D.C. Centre's Hunt Country Classic British Vehicle Show.
And, there's entertainment for everyone, from apple pressing for the kids, to hayrides for all to round out the day! Additional entertainment is provided.
Last year, we had enough pre-registered Lotus, that we qualified for 3 trophies in our class. Here is the link to registration:

Hope to see you there!

For those going to the show maybe we could meet at the Blue Iguana front parking lot - 12727 Shoppes Ln-Chantilly-like last year. Maybe leave at 9:00-9:15 ? Let me know what you think or any other suggestions.

Mark, that's great - Annie is certainly interested. Maybe more would like to meet up for a drive out. Because I won't be back in town until about noon, I can't be at the Blue Iguana. I do hope to drive out in the afternoon.

Hi Mark Yes I would like to drive out together and hopefully there are others who will join. I am more comfortable in a group drive in the event I or anyone else has a problem.
I am happy to meet at 0900 - 0915 at the Blue Iguana .

We had a very good turnout at the Hunt Country Classic car show today... I got there late, and saw Tom & Mary Ann Neel leaving in their Essex Esprit. Other attendees included:
Annie Dalter - red Esprit Bob Scates - yellow Esprit Greg & Thuy Smoak - blue Elise Gary Davis - silver Elise Steven Cummins - red M100 Al Davis - blue Elan Jim Gordon - 'pumpkin' Elan Nicolas Schreyer - white Esprit Mark Whitaker - blue Elan Ivan Katz - maroon Esprit Bob Collum - Caterham Seven
If someone stayed for the awards, please let me know who won the trophies for the Lotus class.
Thanks!

Hey Bob- the following folks won trophies for their cars-
First-Al Davis in the beautiful bright blue Elan S3
Second-Annie Dalton with her red Esprit!
Third-Gary Davis with his silver Elise
Congrats to all - a really nice display of Lotus variety. Nice to have an M100 Elan-can't wait for a Europa. Jim Gordon and I were trying to figure out a way to pinch Al's bright blue Elan since he wouldn't trade with us...…
