The first big British car show of the season... A very big show, and we always have a large Lotus contingent - this year should be no exception! (Yes, that's our people at BoG a few years ago in the heading of this website!)

We will be coming up from Hampton Roads again this year for BOG. Not sure if we will be Lotus'ing or bringing the Jaaag. Depends on how many Lotus projects I can get done between now and then.
Edit: Registered!

Both may cars are registered, too! We need to make sure we have all our people register in advance, so we qualify for the maximum number of trophies!

Hi- I have registered my French Blue DHC Elan for Britain on the Green. Fortunately most of the winter work is done. Look forward to seeing everyone again.

Please make sure you register for this show by April 15th. This will ensure we have a large enough group of Lotus to qualify for our own class, meaning more available trophies. Also, early registration for this show is $25 per car, going up to $35 on April 16th.

Also, PLEASE let me know, via email (Robert_collum@hotmail.com) if you plan to go to the cookout at the Yows' house, and your headcount. This is a courtesy to Caleb and Jessica Yow, who will be buying food based on the RSVP list.
Thanks! We look forward to the first get-together of the club this year.

We are registered in the Lotus category but will likely be bringing the Jag. Parts will arrive for the Lotus, but I won't have time to install before BOG.

It turned out to be a GREAT DAY at Britain On The Green! By my count, we had 15 cars in the Lotus class - including:
4 Esprits 4 Sevens (3 Caterhams and a Westfield.) 2 Elans 2 Evoras 2 Elises 1 340R (!)
When it came time to award the trophies, the class winners were -
1st - Mark Whitaker's blue Elan 2nd - Gavin Slade's Caterham 3rd - Mark Franke's Esprit
Honorable mention to the Glahns' Elan.
I also want to give special thanks to Todd Howe and his wife, who not only came up from Virginia Beach again for this event, but (since their Esprit and M100 were not operational), drove their Jaguar XJS all the way up here. THANKS!
