A good turnout of Lotus at Britain on the Green. By my count, 13 Lotus on display. In addition, Bob Bratti parked his Elise in the parking lot, and Gavin left his Seven at home, so he could bring his wife, two daughters, and dog. Caleb and Jessica Yow were not at the show, because they were preparing the cookout for after the show.
I know I'm going to miss some people - so, sorry!
Some new people to the group, and they took home trophies -
Mark Whitaker has a blue Elan S4 - he won first prize for the 'classic Lotus' category.
Shannon Way brought his wife, Gwen, and their two sons. Their Chrome Orange Elise took first place for 'modern' Lotus. (Yes, they brought another car...)
Todd and his wife came all the way from Virginia Beach in their black Esprit. Good to see them again!
Rob Nigmond and his wife were in the green Esprit.
Ivan Katz drove the new-to-him burgundy Esprit.
Tim & Jenn Glahn had their white Elan, and they took third place in 'classic Lotus'.
Bob and Sharon Scates arrived in their yellow Esprit.
Zakk Farkas and Nikki brought the silver Elise.
Bryan Guziak and his girlfriend were in the white Elise.
Annie drove her red Esprit.
Mark Franke was in his red Esprit.
Bob Collum brought his Seven, and got 2nd place in 'classic Lotus'.
Debbie German and Brenda Franke arrived fashionably late, in the red Elise.
Of note - it looks like we had 6 Esprits, but only 4 Elises.
After the show, many of us went over to Caleb & Jessica Yow's house, for a cookout. (It's OK, we were invited.)
We met up with Duncan and Rochelle, and Tyler Pepin.
NoVA Lotus - what an amazing group of people - (even those currently without Lotus)!
