Just returned from a trip to Japan. Scored these from a hobby shop in the Akihabara district in Tokyo: The wheels on the Evora GTE model are lame; but the Exige has rally lights and the Europa's pretty nice. The same shop also had a 1:18 AutoArt V6 Exige.

Sweet! I could only find the Lotus Exige R-GT when I was there. I bought a couple of them. Pretty sure we gave one away at GYLO. I'd love to get one of those Europas! I'd take the Evora also, even though its a bit disappointing. How did you like Japan???

Japan was awesome. Hit Tokyo and then took a bullet train to Onomichi, just outside Hiroshima, passing by Mt. Fuji along the way. Even did some cycling. Speaking of which, I had a GoPro mounted to the handlebars and it picked up what looks like an R34. You can get Skylines in the States these days; but there's something special about seeing one in the motherland:

A friend of mine just came back from Japan and brought me this: It's a Tomy, 1:59 scale.

A friend of mine just came back from Japan and brought me this: It's a Tomy, 1:59 scale. Woo-hoo! 3-Eleven! We had a 3-Eleven and a 2-Eleven at LOG in Cleveland, but they were full-sized. Note the clever way Lotus kept to the modern rule that model names start with E... --Bob Collum
