^Liking all the colors. And the lack of other cars on the roads is always a welcomed bonus!

Changed out all outlets and switches in the house (existing ones were starting to burn up) and, for the Elise’s battery tender garage outlet, I got a little fancy! The color’s actually a little darker in person than in the photo and doesn’t match exactly; but I like it!

R22 Beta at a flying club BBQ I attended recently. Small, lightweight, agile 2-seater with minimal luggage capacity. Sound familiar? And like with driving many of our Lotus, flying it is said to ruin the experience of flying all other helicopters! Its owner was gracious enough to take me up in it. Fun ride! Funny, as if I were a passenger in an Elige, I had to watch that I didn't hit the stick with my leg.

Took the Elise on one of my cycling routes last week. At least once a year, I’ll bike 36 miles from my house to the Catoctins and then bike the 3-mile, steep climb to the top via the popular-in-the-cycling-community Hamburg Rd (Gambrill Park). At the top, I’ll take a picture with the bike underneath the Hamburg sign to celebrate my climbing victory. Although I cheated in that I drove to the top instead of biked, I still took a picture with the sign.

Some of my wife’s family owns an auto parts store and I had fun telling them that the car used in their Girling banner was a Lotus Type 49:

A friend is at Amelia Island, and sent me this picture of the Evija that Lotus brought...

Looks good out in the open and in a non-production photograph. I'm liking the Lotus reflection in the windshield. And I like that the nose badge is still the "old" logo.

Shadow fun! The "Lotus" over the black strip is actually from the shadow of the red rear tow hook. (Washed the tow hook and under tray today after removing them to do an oil change).
